The Clash will forever be dear to me. My usual tastes are pretty expansive, but I always come back to those warm and fuzzy favourites when in distress (or just whenever). Joe, Mick, Paul, and Topper (and Terry, sure) are an important collective fixture in my life. Sometimes I forget that, but there is just something about an old mainstay that is so comforting. Joe Strummer's gentle face is a great illustration for that feeling.
